Current Status of Blanks Figures

Hey All,
For this long awaited update, I want to assure you all that there is no theft, no running away with money, or trying to scam anyone out of their money. There were some personal and work issues that I had to take care of but now have my time fully devoted to fulfilling these campaign promises, and delivering products that everyone is pleased with.
The tooling for the skeleton was completed and below is the first test shot that the factory ran. They are doing another couple now with the correct parts (since this one has two of the same lower leg), and are going to be more careful cleaning up the flashing (especially around the ribs and hands). Right after that, they will be mailed to me so that they can be more closely inspected to be sure that the details came through, the parts fit together properly, and it can hold poses well. Notes sent back to the factory will be used to fine tune the tooling. The male figure is going through these same steps but is a bit further behind in the process. All the male blanks will have the relaxed hands and bare feet included since the backerkit amounts raised surpassed those needed numbers. I’ll get an updated time table for a delivery estimate once the tooling is being finalized but as of now, do not have an exact time frame.
More pictures will be posted along the way, and much more frequent updates.
I understand the frustrations that some of you have so if you do want a refund of your pledge, send a message through Kickstarter or via email with your Kickstarter username so the pledge can be found. I’ll spend the remainder of today going through the messages that have been received and reaching out to all who have sent those.

BackerKit Surveys Just Went Out to Everyone, Pre-Order Store is Open

Tests for the surveys went well and the remaining ones have just been sent out to everyone! If you don't see anything in your email within the next hour, check the spam or junk folders.
The Pre-order store front is also open now so those that did not participate in the campaign can pre-order figures as well. It can be found at the following address :

Surveys/Pre-Order store will remain open until early June before being locked down.

Long Awaited Update - BackerKit Surveys Going Out Now, New Est. Ship Date, Stretch Goals

Hey Backers,
No excuses for the lack of communication… Totally understandable some of you are upset. No work has stopped and things are still moving along, however. The goal still is, and always was, to deliver the best figures possible that everyone will be pleased with. The has been significant back and forth with the factory to get the inner workings of the Male torso to a point where the ab crunch functions well and the socket that allows for the lower body to be removable can be kept. The lower body being removable at the waist cut is an important feature that I didn’t want to lose and I did not want to take the easy way out by eliminating it.
-What Stage of Production are these figures in?
Both figures are currently in the tooling phase. The following are images of tooling for the Skeleton joints that they are polishing now (that have raised marks on them for that ‘ratchet’ effect when the joints are moved).
-Current Estimated Ship Date?
With a lot of the back and forth regarding the Male figure in addition to accommodating the factory’s tooling schedule, the anticipated shipping date for these figures is being pushed back to September 2018. Some or all of the tooling for both of these figures is going to be used again for other figures/additional runs so I want to be sure these are perfected as much as possible and not just rush things out trying to meet a date.
-Where the heck are those BackerKit Surveys?
The BackerKit surveys are being sent out to 5% of backers right now (chosen randomly) as a smoke test. If there are no unforeseen hiccups with those people completing them, then the remainder of the backers will be receiving the surveys within the next 24-48 hours. These will be kept open until early June so there is enough time for people to make selections and get any address/shipping info locked down. (If you are one of those 5% who gets a survey right now and has any trouble filling it out or entering any shipping info, please notify BackerKit support or myself and we'll get it sorted.)
-What about those extra Male stretch goals that can be unlocked during the BackerKit/Pre-Order Store period?
Those include the relaxed hands, bare feet, White Male, and Silver Male.
The totals that need to be hit during this BackerKit/Pre-Order store period for each of the above stretch goals to be unlocked are as follows. You will be able to see the "Raised in BackerKit" total on the Pre-Order store front.
Relaxed Hands - $5,000 raised
Bare Feet - $10,000 raised
White Male - $16,000 raised
Silver Male - $22,000 raised

Hey everybody,
As you all are aware, the BackerKit survey and storefront is still not up yet. It's still coming, and that being delayed does not mean the figures are delayed or change the schedule of things. The factory is closed for Chinese New Year, and they will all return to work and resume the tooling process at the end of the month. Been hard at work on many other cool things for the future of this Blanks line as well as other figures that should be able to bypass the Kickstarter process all together. This Blanks line will help open doors for other lines and other lines will do the same for this Blanks line. Eager to show off some other figures when the time is right. In the mean time, here is a look at the work in progress female blank body that will be a future release:

BackerKit still a couple days out & Free stands for each backer

Hey all,
Not to worry, things are still moving along smoothly, just taking a bit more time than expected. The BackerKit survey did not go out yet and will still need a couple more days until it's sent out to everyone. There's a ton of options and pledge levels to get sorted out in the survey, and we are trying to make it as easy as possible for everyone to complete it since each pledge level in this campaign was a 'pick & choose' format.
Also, earlier in the campaign when asked if backers who supported this Kickstarter would get a bonus, the answer was yes. Each backer will be receiving a set of 8 clear figure stands for FREE with their shipped order. Additional stands may be added during the BackerKit period if you choose.
Thanks for the patience during this time guys and gals. Trying to make this process as easy as possible for all of you when the time comes to complete those surveys!
